Privacy policy
The short version: we only collect what you type into our forms, we use it to reply to you, we never sell or share it, and this site sets no cookies.
Who we are
Feedwright Studio LLC (“Feedwright”, “we” or “us”) is a content and social media studio in Brooklyn, New York. This policy covers feedwright.agency and the forms on it. Questions about privacy go to hello@feedwright.agency.
What we collect
- Book a call and the contact form. Your name and email address and, if you add them, your company, website or handle, budget range and message.
- Plan builder. Your email address and the plan you chose: platforms, posts a month, shoot days and whether you’re an agency.
- Emails and calls. Whatever you choose to tell us when you write to us or speak to us.
- Server logs. Like every website, our host automatically records IP addresses, browser type, the pages requested and the time of each request.
We don’t take payments through this website, and we never ask for sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, health information or precise location.
How we use it
- To reply to you, arrange calls and send the prices or proposals you ask for.
- To keep the website secure, working and free of spam.
- To keep the records we need for tax, accounting and legal reasons.
- If you become a client, to deliver our services under your agreement with us.
We don’t use your details for advertising and we don’t add you to a mailing list. If we ever start a newsletter, it will be opt-in.
Who we share it with
Only with the service providers who help us run the studio and who process information on our behalf under contract: our web host, our email provider and our accounting software. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone’s safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined in California law.
Cookies and tracking
This website doesn’t set cookies and doesn’t use analytics, advertising pixels or session recording, so there’s no cookie banner. Two small things happen in your browser:
- If you choose “For agencies” or “For founders & creators” on the homepage, your browser keeps that choice in its local storage so the page reads the same next time. It never leaves your device, and you can clear it in your browser settings.
- Our typefaces load from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address. Google’s own privacy policy applies to that request.
Because we don’t track you, there is nothing to opt out of. We still honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals: if we ever add analytics, those signals will switch it off for you.
How long we keep it
If we don’t end up working together, we delete your inquiry within 12 months. If you become a client, we keep our correspondence for the length of the agreement and for seven years after it ends, for tax and legal records. Server logs are kept for a short period by our host and then deleted.
How we protect it
We protect personal information with reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, as New York’s SHIELD Act requires: encrypted connections, two-factor sign-in on every account we use, access limited to the people who need it, and service providers who commit to the same. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send passwords or other sensitive details through our forms.
Your rights and choices
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct anything that’s wrong;
- delete it; or
- stop contacting you.
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon and several other states have these rights by law. We extend them to everyone.
Email hello@feedwright.agency with your request. We’ll confirm we received it within 10 business days and answer within 45 days. To protect you, we may check your identity against details we already hold. You can use an authorized agent; we’ll ask for proof that they act for you. We won’t treat you differently for using any of these rights, and if we decline a request we’ll explain why and how to appeal.
California residents
In the last 12 months we collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (name, email address, IP address), commercial information (the plans and services you asked about), internet activity (server log data) and anything else you chose to include in a message. We collected it from you and from your browser, for the purposes described in “How we use it”, and disclosed identifiers and internet activity to our service providers for business purposes.
We have not sold or shared personal information, we don’t collect sensitive personal information, and we have no actual knowledge of selling or sharing information about anyone under 16. Under California’s “Shine the Light” law, you can ask whether we disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing; we don’t.
Children
This website is for businesses and isn’t directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we’ll delete it.
Accounts we manage for clients
When we manage social media accounts for clients, we may see personal information about their followers and customers, such as comments and direct messages. We handle that on our client’s behalf under our client agreement, and the client’s own privacy policy applies. Questions about it are best sent to the brand you were talking to.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll also say so on the homepage for 30 days.
